Claude is an increasingly popular AI model from Anthropic, which has become a go-to solution for many businesses around the world.

While ChatGPT remains the top choice for everyday people, Claude’s various business-facing tools have higher token allotments and more effective agentic tools for your company to streamline operations.

In this guide, we’ll explain why Claude is one of the best AI models for businesses, including how much enterprise-facing plans cost, what they can do, and how they compare with other options on the market.

Claude offers two different pricing plans that are specifically aimed at businesses: Team and Enterprise.

The primary difference between the individual plans from Claude (Free, Pro, and Max) and the business-facing plans (Team and Enterprise) is that the latter provides far more robust security and administration tools.

More specifically, the business-facing plans offer single sign-on (SSO), domain verification, central billing and administration, admin controls, usage analytics, and organization-wide skills deployment.

Beyond security and administration, these business plans also offer project sharing and collaboration, advanced search, and invoicing tools.

Claude for business plans start at $20 per user, per month, with another option for $100 per user, per month that allows for additional usage.

The Teams plan allows for between five and 150 users. It costs $20 per user, per month for a Standard seat and $100 per user, per month for a Premium seat, which allows for five times as much usage.

The Enterprise plan allows for 20 or more users. The seat-based version also costs $20 per user, per month, and the usage cost scales with model and task. This plan adds additional security and admin features, like domain capture, role-based access, audit logs, and Google Docs cataloging.

There’s also a version of the Enterprise plan that is usage based, so you do not have to pay the $20 per user, per month, but you will pay for every tokens you use.

Claude token limits and context window sizes

The context window size for the Team plan is 200,000 tokens, while the context window size for the Enterprise plan is 500,000 tokens.

For the Teams plan, you can pre-purchase extra usage ahead of time, but there is a strict limit once you use all of that up.

With the Enterprise plan, extra usage is simply added to your bill at the end of the month.

Claude Code and Claude Cowork are the agentic AI tools available from Claude.

Claude Code is designed for heavy coding tasks, acting as more of a coding assistant that can run tests, modify files, refactor code, and integrate tasks with specific automation setups.

Claude Cowork is a less technical version of the agentic AI, designed for less demanding tasks, like bulk organizing and renaming files, extracting data from documents, and creating cross-system workflows.

Claude Cowork and Claude Code are available at no additional cost on both of the enterprise-level pricing plans for Claude, as well as the Pro and Max plans for individuals.

Even better, Claude also offers plug-ins that are ready-to-run AI agent templates for financial services, which can be used to audit statements, review earnings, and prepare for meetings.

Claude and ChatGPT are two of the most popular AI models in 2026, especially for businesses looking to improve productivity across their operations. Here are some key differences between the two platforms.

  • Context window: Claude’s context window is 200,000 tokens on Teams and 500,000 tokens on Enterprise, while ChatGPT’s context window is only 128,000 tokens on all business plans.
  • Users: Claude requires a minimum of five users on Teams and 20 on Enterprise, while ChatGPT requires only two users on Business and 150 users on Enterprise.
  • Price: Both Claude and ChatGPT business plans start at $20 per user, per month, when billed annually and $25 per user, per month, when billed monthly.

All in all, Claude is a better solution for businesses because of its large token allotments and the effectiveness of its agentic tools, Claude Code and Claude Cowork, which launched in January.

ChatGPT has long been the most popular AI model on the market, with both businesses and everyday people using to the world’s first chatbot in droves.

However, data has emerged from Ramp that shows businesses in particular flocking to Claude. More specifically, Anthropic now accounts for 73.3% of new AI spending, as of late February 2026, compared with only 26.7% from OpenAI.

This is a big change in just a few months, with ChatGPT and Claude basically at 50/50 in January and ChatGPT sitting at 60% in December, while Anthropic had 40%.

The reason behind the change? Claude’s release of the Cowork and Code platforms has made it a clear choice for those interested in advanced automation.

With the Team and Enterprise plans, Claude will not use your business data to train its AI model. Additionally, the Enterprise plan specifically allows for custom data retention controls and offers a Zero Data Retention (ZDR) mode for more sensitive industries.

Yes, Claude can integrate with GitHub and Slack, as well as other third-party services like Canva, Figma, Chrome, and PowerPoint.

Yes, the Team plan requires a minimum of five seats and the Enterprise plan requires a minimum of 20 seats.
