Black Friday 2019 is upon us, and that means some fantastic deals and discounts on all sorts of tech products. From laptops to software, we round up the very best Black Friday 2019 tech deals.
Remember, the trick with Black Friday shopping is to be judicious and buy at the right moment. We have a few tips and tricks for working out if you’re getting the best price possible, so see our guide to checking if it’s a real deal.
The most important advice? Be sure of what it is you’re buying. You’re better off getting a healthy discount on a good brand, rather than snapping up the cheapest product you see from a brand you’ve never heard of.
If you’re unsure about all the tech jargon (and there’s no shame in that) check out our handy Black Friday Survival Guide. Happy shopping!
Black Friday Amazon Tablet Deals
Amazon loves a discount when Black Friday comes around, and the retail giant is pretty generous with the price cuts to its own Fire tablet range.
You’re unlikely to find a cheaper deal than the $29 basic 7-inch Amazon Fire tablet. Though, for our money, we think you’re better off going for the slightly pricier 8-inch model with an HD screen.
Fire 7 with Alexa
- $29.99 — $20 off
- At this price, the Fire 7 with Alexa is the ultimate bargain tablet — it won’t beat an iPad, but you cannot get better for less.
- It has a 1024×600 7″ LCD display and uses Amazon’s FireOS version of Android, so it should feel familiar to most people
- It also features Alexa hands-free, and has up to 512GB expandable storage
Buy from AmazonAmazon Fire HD8 with Alexa
- $49.99 — $30 off
- Arguably Amazon’s best tablet, the HD8 gets improved specs all-round with only a modest price increase
- Sharper 1280×800 resolution screen, more Ram and storage and up to 10 hours of battery life
- Alexa is available all the time
Buy from AmazonAmazon Fire HD 10 with Alexa
- $99.99 — $50 off
- The Fire HD 10 is Amazon’s most expensive and highly-specced tablet with a 10″ 1920×1200 display, 2GB Ram and an upgraded processor
- It comes with a USB-C cable & 9W power adapter, although the Show Mode Charging Dock is sold seperately (more how that dock works here).
Black Friday iPad Deals
It’s rare to find great discounts on Apple’s iPad range, as the manufacturer controls their sale so tightly. You won’t find anything as generous as 50% off, but there are decent discounts to be found
We’ve rounded up some iPad deals, below.
